No, the PRC for Traffic Safety doesn’t carry out campaigns themselves. Traffic safety campaigns are carried out by BIVV, the Belgian Institute for Traffic Safety.

The PRC for Traffic Safety does nog organise training, but PRC researchers all have an education assignment in their own institution. These educational tasks entail that they perform as professor in various traffic safety and transportation programmes (eg. BaMa  Transportation Sciences (UHasselt), Master VLITS Traffic, Logistics, and Intelligent Transport systems (KUL), Transportation Academy, etc.).

The Policy Research Centre for Traffic Safety carries out policy relevant scientific research under the authority of the Flemish Government. The Centre is the result of a

cooperation between Hasselt University, KU Leuven and VITO, the Flemish Institute for Technological Research.
